A Showcase of Light & Steel | Part II


Recently I talked about gaining new perspectives by purchasing a new lens. This newly acquired fisheye lens allowed me to really get fun angles on the buildings, and capture a lot more of my surroundings.

Whether its foggy, clear, or snowing you can find something worth overcoming and rising to the challenge. Pittsburgh Photography doesn’t have to be easy. This is a good thing!

At first I felt the struggle. Here I am, on an overcast day in Pittsburgh, trying to figure out how to use this new bulging round look. I knew I had to balance the angles and blend the lighting to make something appealing.

The first few shots I took started over by David L Lawrence center. This building often reminds me of something sci-fi and spacey. So I gave it a shot.
